On May 26, 2020, SBIA President Brett Palmer joined a virtual roundtable organized by the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship, and Capital Markets entitled “Examining the Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on U.S. Capital Markets.”

This was a listening session for Members and topics explored “what’s next for the cap markets” and the investor protections/regulatory relief that should accompany future efforts, the Main Street Lending and Paycheck Protection programs, and the impact of AFFE on institutional and retail investment.
