SBIA to testify on Paycheck Protection Program before House subcommittee

SBIA President Brett Palmer will testify on Wednesday, May 13, 2020,at 1:00pm ET before the House Small Business Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Tax and Capital Access.
  • The forum, titled “Paycheck Protection Program Issues and COVID-19 Recovery Capital Access Options,” will focus on what is working well with the Paycheck Protection Program, what is not, and what more Congress can do to optimize the program. The discussion will also explore capital access options beyond the Paycheck Protection Program.
  • The hearing, which is open to the full committee, will be led by Subcommittee Chair Andy Kim and Ranking Member Kevin Hern. Other panelists include representatives from the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL) and Opportunity Finance Network (OFN).
