David Kupetz

David has more than 35 years of experience in distressed transactions, crisis avoidance consultation, workouts, restructurings, reorganizations, bankruptcies, receiverships, assignments for the benefit of creditors, creditor rights, and other non-bankruptcy insolvency solutions and related transactions and litigation. He represents debtors (in restructurings and workouts and in chapter 11 reorganization cases), secured creditors, unsecured creditors’ committees, assignees for the benefit of creditors, buyers/sellers of businesses/assets in distressed circumstances and other entities in insolvency and bankruptcy situations. David’s many articles on bankruptcy-related subjects have been published in local and national publications. He is the author of the Collier Handbook for Creditors’ Committees and served as the author of Collier Commercial Bankruptcy Forms for many years.

 

Adrienne Walker
Partner | Boston

Adrienne is a member of the Firm’s Board of Directors. She focuses her practice on restructuring and commercial finance and has significant bankruptcy litigation experience. Her commercial lending work involves advising borrowers on private equity and secured financing transactions. As an experienced commercial lending attorney, Adrienne also advises both borrowers and lenders on complex debt structuring, including transactions involving traditional banks and, more often, private equity. In addition, Adrienne is an adjunct professor at Suffolk University Law School, teaching advanced courses in business bankruptcy. Adrienne is also a frequent speaker and writer on numerous topics of interest in the bankruptcy and commercial lending fields.

 

Jonathan Young
Partner | Washington, D.C.

Jonathan Young is Co-Chair of the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group. He regularly advises investors, lenders, noteholders, directors, equity sponsors and portfolio companies in connection with their rights and obligations relative to financial distress, insolvency and bankruptcy situations. He also advises trustees, receivers and other fiduciaries charged with reorganizing, restructuring or liquidating financially distressed entities. Jonathan also handles a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters with a particular focus on insolvency, bankruptcy and secured lending issues. While he has handled engagements in a wide range of industries, he has substantial experience in private equity, advertising and media, technology and telecommunications, life sciences, audit and accounting and insurance and reinsurance.
