Earlier today, SBA Administrator Karen Mills announced the first SBIC, InvestMichigan!, licensed as an Impact Investment Fund in SBA's new Impact Investment Initiative. The initiative is part of the Startup America program and will use the infrastructure of the Small Business Investment Company Program to provide an estimated $1.5 billion to small businesses over the next five years at no cost to taxpayers.
